Private Event + Studio Rental Policies

These policies apply to all private events and studio rentals at Ritual + Root. By paying your deposit, you are confirming that you have read and agree to the terms outlined on this page.

Deposits + Payment

Deposit

A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve your date and is applied toward your total. Your date is not held until the deposit is received.

Final Invoice + Payment

Your final invoice will be emailed 10 days before your event and is due 7 days before your event. If payment is not received within 24 hours of the due date, we reserve the right to release your date. Your deposit will be forfeited.

Rescheduling + Cancellations

  • More than 7 days' notice: deposit may be transferred to a new date within 3 months, based on availability
  • Less than 7 days' notice: deposit is forfeited
  • Within 48 hours or no-show: full payment is non-refundable

Damages

The client is responsible for any damages to the studio, equipment, or furnishings occurring during their event.

Private Event Policies

Scheduling

Private events are scheduled by request and availability. We'll work with you to find a date and time that aligns with your group and the experience you're interested in.

Studio Capacity

Our studio comfortably accommodates up to 24 guests for seated events. For floor-based experiences, capacity is approximately 12 guests.

Guest Counts

Final guest count is due 7 days before your event. Guest count cannot be reduced after that date. Additional guests may be added based on availability at the per-person rate for your experience.

Food + Beverage

Outside food and catering are welcome — we're happy to give recommendations! Most private events include a complimentary Mimosa Bar, water, tea + coffee. The Infused Craft Cocktail Party includes two guided craft cocktails in place of the mimosa bar. Guests must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

Studio Rental Policies

Scheduling

Studio rentals are available by request and subject to availability. Minimum rental is 2 hours.

Studio Capacity

The studio comfortably seats up to 24 guests. For events where guests will be on the floor, such as sound baths or meditation circles, capacity is approximately 12 people.

Setup + Arrival

A complimentary 15-minute buffer is included before and after your rental for setup and wrap-up. Early arrival beyond this window is not guaranteed and must be arranged in advance.

Food + Beverage

Outside food and drinks are welcome — we're happy to suggest local catering options if needed. Guests must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

Cleanup

Light cleaning is included. Renters are responsible for leaving the space in the same condition it was found. Excessive cleaning or damages will be invoiced separately.

Shopping During Events

In-studio shopping can be made available upon request at no additional cost. Please let us know in advance if you'd like shopping to be part of your rental.
