Ritual + Root is a Creative + Collective Studio — a gathering place where creativity, holistic practices, and community come together.

We offer curated experiences like candle making, mindfulness painting, and private events that spark connection and self-expression. Alongside creative workshops, we host holistic practices including sound baths, reiki, tarot, astrology, and mindfulness classes — experiences designed to nurture mind, body, and spirit.

Our curated ritual goods boutique features handcrafted bath + body care, aromatherapy, candles, crystals, journals, and esoteric books and tools to support your personal rituals and everyday well-being.

Meet the Team:

 

Misty Marcus

 

Misty is our owner and co-founder.  She handles our social media and is the face behind Wicked Soaps Co. and the hands-on creative side of ritual + root.  She is originally from mid-Michigan and has lived in West Michigan since 2017.  

As the owner of Wicked Soaps Co., Misty has been formulating and creating soap, skincare and candle products for over a decade and brings her knowledge and experience to lead workshops in candle making, soap making, botanical skincare and more.

 

 

Kellie Janicki

Kellie is our co-founder and a certified Reiki practitioner.  She is originally from the east side of the state and relocated to Holland in 2010.  As a self-employed professional photographer at Kellie J. Photography, she's the face behind our photographs and brings an eye for detail and event organization. 

Kellie brings the "ritual" to ritual + root.  Over the past few years, she's felt a pull to transition to a more fulfilling life path of self-awareness and spirituality and began exploring yoga, meditation, astrology and intuitive development.

How it Works

We are excited to launch our new Ritual + Root Loyalty Program!

When you join the Loyalty Program, you will receive a Loyalty Card and will receive a stamp for each workshop you attend. Once you've received stamps for attending five workshops you will receive a $45 credit toward your next workshop!

Terms + Conditions

  • Each guest may earn only one loyalty stamp per workshop attended.

  • Loyalty card must be presented at the workshop to receive loyalty stamp.

  • For free workshop, guest will receive a reward code good for $45. If workshop price is more than $45, guest is responsible for paying the difference.

FAQ

  • How do I enroll?

Ask to join the program during your next visit to Ritual + Root and we will set up your account and issue a loyalty card.

  • Do I get multiple stamps if I purchase multiple seats at a workshop?

No. Each guest may only earn a loyalty stamp for the seat they occupy at a given workshop. However, each guest is welcome (and encouraged!) to sign up for the program and earn his or her own stamps.

  • How do I redeem my free workshop?

Once you have attained all five stamps, we will issue a unique online discount code good for $45 toward any future workshop.

  • What if the workshop I want to attend is more than $45?

You will be responsible for paying the difference if the workshop you want to attend is more than $45.

  • How do I receive a stamp?

Just present your Loyalty Card to a Ritual + Root employee during the workshop you are attending and we will stamp your card.

  • Is there a time limit or expiration date to earn and redeem my free workshop?

Nope! There is no time limit for earning or redeeming.
